A Letter to the Craftadian Community
COVID-19 Update:
With amid growing concerns over the spread of COVID-19, at Craftadian, the health and safety of our handmade community are foremost in our minds. In light of growing concerns, we regret to inform you that we will be cancelling the following Craftadian Markets:
- Craftadian Spring Market, April 18, 2020 [McMaster Innovation Park]
- Craftadian Summer Market, August 22, 2020 [McMaster Innovation Park]
Please be assured that we are closely following the instructions and guidelines issued by the Hamilton Public Health Services following the City of Hamilton who is also cancelling all city events between now and July 2, 2020.
Since 2011, this is the first time that we have cancelled an event, where Craftadian will not take place in its intended dates, and we want to thank you for your patience and support as we navigate through this unprecedented cancellation. We also recognize all of the hard work, money and effort that has gone into preparing for Craftadian’s Spring Market – thank you for all that you do.
At this time, we have decided to automatically transfer all vendors, sponsors, and ticket holders to our Craftadian Christmas Market taking place on Saturday December 5, 2020 at McMaster Innovation Park.
Craftadian remains committed to providing a curated destination to shop for locally handmade products made and designed by Canadian artists, artisans and designers such as you. In light of this global pandemic, we have decided to pivot the way we host our markets. While we can’t come together physically right now, we have found a way to come together online on an interactive platform to host our NEW Craftadian Virtual Markets.
We understand that it may be disappointing to not attend the Craftadian Market but keeping the virus from spreading is our priority. Indeed, health does come first.
